Built in 1930, Gary Roosevelt has a proud and rich Hoosier history. It was one of only three high schools in Indiana constructed exclusively for African Americans. But the school sits empty now after years of deterioration. Indiana Landmarks has placed the building on its 10 Most Endangered List.
