One of the biggest downtown economic development projects in Indiana is one step closer to reality. All the necessary permits have now been secured to begin construction on the $440 million Electric Works project in Fort Wayne. Developers plan to start redevelopment and rehabilitation of the former General Electric site by the end of the year.
