The medically underserved in Indiana, Hoosiers who have no access to health care, rely on community health centers as their safety net. A recent study by the IU Fairbanks School of Public Health shows CHCs have a $1 billion economic impact to nearly 600,000 disadvantaged Hoosiers in the state.
