Indianapolis tech start-up Ascus is pioneering an emerging science, Endomicrobial Ecology, that uses a natural approach to improve animal health and performance. It’s being driven by former Elanco VP of Global Research and Development William Weldon. Endomicrobial Ecology harvests the natural microbiota that already exists in an animal’s system. The research is driving the science behind Ascus’ first product which will launch in Argentina in 2018.
