Situated in the “Limestone Capital of the World,” Bedford’s Monon Station played a key role in shipping tons of Indiana limestone to construct the Pentagon and the Empire State Building. But now the historic Monon Station sits dilapidated and empty and has landed on Indiana Landmarks 10 Most Endangered List.
