Subscribe NowThe Lafayette-based Indiana Crop Improvement Association has a new chief executive officer after its longtime leader stepped down earlier in the summer. James Fung has been named CEO, succeeding Alan Galbreth, who retired at the end of July.
Fung will focus on leadership and bringing ideas to help the direction of ICIA, and will also look to add to the strategic longterm planning and new business opportunities. He spent 17 years in the agriculture industry serving in roles in business, manufacturing, supply chain, along with startup operations.
Galbreth spent 44 years at the non-profit, non-governmental accredited seed laboratory, where he received numerous awards and is credited with advancing seed certification.
