Steuben County Gets Workforce Development Director

Subscribe NowThe Steuben County Economic Development Corp. has hired Mike Landram for the recently-created position of Workforce Development Director. Landram most recently served as chief executive officer of The Literacy Alliance and also was president and CEO of the Greater Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce.
Landram will step into his new role this September.
Landram has more than 30 years of experience in public and private sector initiatives in the community and economic development, public policy, regional strategy, advocacy and community problem-solving.
“The hiring of Mike Landram is the next step in the SCEDC strategic plan. Mike will complement the rest of the staff with additional resources needed to develop a stronger workforce. We are excited about his ability to work with our K-12 systems to give our students the opportunity to understand there are jobs available with pre and post-secondary credentials that make a good living right here in our community” said President of the SCEDC Board and Town of Hamilton Manager, Brent Shull in a news release.
Landram is a graduate of Ball State University. He is also a recipient of the Ball State University Alumni Award of Achievement.
