MXD Process Considering Return to Jeffersonville

Subscribe NowKentucky-based MXD Process, a manufacturing company founded in Jeffersonville, may return to the city. The company says it is considering leasing a new facility, an $1.8 million project contingent on the Jeffersonville City Council’s approval of incentives, that could to create 40 new jobs.
MXD Process, formerly Mixer Direct, is a manufacturer of industrial mixers, stainless steel tanks and batch control systems that automate mixing operations in a client’s laboratory or work site.
Established in 2010 in Jeffersonville, the company has operated in a Louisville, Ky., facility for the past seven years and is expanding to meet demands of the growing company.
“MXD Process was founded nine years ago in Jeffersonville, Ind., and we are excited about the possibility of relocating to a facility in our hometown,” said Chief Executive Officer and President Mark Franco. “This move will propel our company’s growth for the next 20 years and allow us to work more efficiently and collaboratively, which will translate into accelerated product innovation cycles and more responsive customer service. We look forward to moving the project forward with the city council’s approval.”
The new facility would be located at 4650 New Middle Road.
The IEDC offered MXD Process up to $320,000 in conditional tax credits based on the company’s job creation plans. These tax credits are performance-based, meaning until Hoosiers are hired, the company is not eligible to claim incentives.
