The $25 million Embassy Suites by Hilton Plainfield includes a conference center and is located near Indianapolis International Airport.
Plans for the project were first announced in early 2016 and officials broke ground on the hotel in April 2017. The hotel features 175 rooms and more than 21,000 square feet of conference and banquet space.
In a 2016 interview with Inside INdiana Business, Visit Hendricks County Executive Director Jaime Bohler-Smith said the hotel would be a major economic driver for the community.
Bohler-Smith will be joined at the ribbon cutting ceremony by Indianapolis-based Sun Development & Management Corp. Chief Executive Officer Bharat Patel and Embassy Suites by Hilton Global Head Alan Roberts. The grand opening ceremony is slated to begin at 4:00 p.m.
