Aardvark opened its more than 100,000-square-foot paper straw manufacturing facility in February. Nearly 70 manufacturing jobs will be filled over the next three months, with 30 jobs to be filled immediately.
Interested applicants can apply at the careers page of the company’s website.
Aardvark recently picked up traction as the supplier of Purdue University Dining’s straws. Representatives at Purdue said Aardvark paper straws were chosen because they use only FDA-compliant, food-grade materials, and are marine degradable and compostable. Aardvark straws take 45 to 60 days to fully decompose, and six months or fewer in marine environments.
Aardvark managers will be interviewing candidates April 16 and 17.
