Fishers-based Eleven Fifty Academy has announced a partnership with Salesforce.com Inc.’s (NYSE: CRM) Pathfinder Training Program. The academy will work with the tech giant to help train Indiana workers for careers in software development.

Salesforce partnered with Deloitte to begin the Pathfinder Training Program in 2017. It’s designed to train participants for technology jobs within the Salesforce ecosystem, specifically administrator and developer positions. When it launched the program, Salesforce called it a "game changer" with an ultimate goal to train 500 people by 2020.

“We are honored to be part of training the Hoosier workforce,” said Eleven Fifty Academy founder Scott Jones in a release. "We educate software developers who achieve an astounding earning potential, which speaks to dramatically positive impacts for families and our state. Perhaps most importantly, though, our graduates generally seem very happy with their new-found careers. Salesforce is an ideal partner to help further our shared goals."

Jones is also chairman of Grow INdiana Media Ventures, the parent company of Inside INdiana Business.
