One Southern Indiana says Liberty Place @ Kaiser Home Support Services in New Albany will house more than a dozen veterans at risk from homelessness.
Kaiser Home Support Services is the first home care company to offer a program specifically for veterans, according to 1si. Each of the 16 veterans who will be housed at the facility will have private bedrooms and bathrooms while they are there.
Representatives from Kaiser, the city of New Albany and 1si, which is the chamber of commerce and economic development organization for Clark and Floyd counties, will be on hand for the ribbon cutting ceremony.
