Kyle Smith has joined McGuire Sponsel as a tax consultant, assisting the specialty tax and consulting firm’s cost segregation practice. He will be responsible for conducting cost segregation studies by identifying a building’s qualified assets and associated costs, then classifying those assets to optimize the client’s depreciation deduction. Smith previously served as a project manager at D.G. Perry Building Contractors in Zionsville. He also has worked as a construction superintendent at JRF Construction in Westfield and as project engineer at Lithko Contracting in Oklahoma City and Indianapolis.
