Berry Global Full-Year Profit Grows

(NYSE: BERY) is reporting fiscal full-year net income of $496 million, up from $340 million the previous year. The manufacturer says it also saw net sales increases in each of its separate divisions.
The company is also reporting fiscal fourth quarter net income of $133 million, up from $110 million during the same period in 2017.
Berry Global produces a variety of packaging, protection solutions, and adhesive products, among others, for different industry sectors. Chief Executive Officer Tom Salmon says the company’s consumer packaging division saw strong organic sales growth in the quarter, led by its food service products.
Salmon adds the company’s acquisition of Massachusetts-based manufacturer Laddawn Inc., which was completed in the fiscal fourth quarter, "enhances our ability to service the faster growing small and medium size customer base."
