Chamber-Run Internship Program Finds Next Leader

Slocum is currently the executive director for the career development and systems office at Ivy Tech Community College. He will succeed interim Executive Director Mark Lawrence, who will stay on with the Indiana Chamber of Commerce-managed internship initiative through the end of the year before retiring from an 18-year career with the chamber.
Chamber President Kevin Brinegar says "Mike has such a clear grasp of Indiana INTERNnet’s mission and why the internship process is so beneficial in achieving employment satisfaction for both students and employers."
