Indianapolis-based Hirons has hired Emily Kibling as account director in the agency’s communications management department. She previously worked at Borshoff as an account director. 

Kibling is a graduate of the University of Iowa. She is accredited in public relations by the Public Relations Society of America and has served in numerous leadership roles for the organization’s Hoosier Chapter, including serving as 2018 president-elect. In 2019, Kibling will step into the role of president of the Hoosier Chapter, where she will lead the more-than-350-member organization. With the chapter board, the president is responsible for ensuring the organization’s local initiatives align with its strategic plan and further the public relations profession throughout the state of Indiana.

Kibling will be responsible for several client relationships and will primarily focus on the areas of account and communications planning, media relations, public outreach and community relations.
