Israeli Consul General Coming to Indy

Consul General Aviv Ezra will give remarks at a luncheon featuring Indiana Speaker of the House Brian Bosma (R-88). Ezra is Israel’s official representative in nine states, including Indiana.
In addition to Indiana, the Consulate General of Israel, based in Chicago, serves Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. It aims to coordinate relationships between Israel and national and local organizations throughout the Midwest.
Ezra is just the latest high-ranking foreign official to visit Indiana in recent weeks. Japanese Economy, Trade and Industry Ministier Hiroshige Seko was in Indiana earlier this month to meet with Governor Eric Holcomb and executives from Japanese businesses. Earlier this week, British Ambassador to the United States Kim Darroch met with South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg to discuss development of electric vehicle and green energy technology.
