Miami County Property Upgraded to ‘Site Certified Prime’

The Grissom South Industrial Park is now Site Certified Prime according to the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs, the highest designation of its kind issued by the state agency. The property, located within the Grissom Aeroplex, includes a multi-million dollar shell building owned by the Miami County Economic Development Authority.
The state’s "Prime" tier of shovel-ready development status builds on the "Silver" and "Gold" tiers and includes requirements such as 30 contiguous acres and a location that is no more than 2.5 miles from a state highway. The Miami County property is located near U.S. 31. The MCEDA website lists the sale price of the 57,600 square-foot shell building as nearly $2.8 million.
