The city of Fort Wayne’s Urban Enterprise Association has hired Trois Hart as director. She replaces Gina Kostoff who recently took a position with Indiana Michigan Power.

Hart most recently served as associate vice president of marketing at the University of Saint Francis. She serves on multiple community boards including the Fort Wayne Downtown Development Trust and the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne.

Hart will oversee the UEA, as well as the newly-formed Summit City Entrepreneur and Enterprise District, which was created by state statute last year. The SEED district is a five-year pilot program that offers business incentives to help spur innovation and commercial in-fill development in the urban core, as well as along several urban corridors such as South Calhoun, Broadway, Bluffton, Goshen, South Anthony and more. SEED will also focus on programming that supports entrepreneurship, innovation, technology development and small business development.
