CARMEL -

Kroger has renovated and reopened a former Marsh store to serve Carmel and Zionsville. The company invested nearly $5 million to upgrade the building at 106th and Michigan Road.

The store will feature many of the same amenities as other Kroger stores, but will also contain its own Starbucks shop. A new aspect to the store is ClickList online ordering. Customers will begin to be able to order groceries online and schedule a pickup time beginning next week. Division President Pam Matthews said “We know customers in Carmel and Zionsville have eagerly awaited the opening of this store.  We are proud to see it back in business.  Today’s ribbon-cutting means even more of our friends and neighbors are able to enjoy Kroger convenience and value.”

Kroger also announced a series of donations for hunger relief in the area. Kroger donated more than $22,000 to New Hope of Indiana, Grace Church, Merciful H.E.L.P. Center and Zionsville Food Pantry.
