The mission of the Indianapolis Museum of Contemporary Art is to bring contemporary exhibitions and programs to the Indianapolis community to stimulate minds, inspire new discoveries and demonstrate the vital connections between visual culture and life. The museum supports a variety of emerging and mid-career artists through innovative exhibitions and audience engagements.
She currently serves as vice president of the Phoenix Theatre in Indianapolis. Shapiro previously served as a docent at the Indianapolis Museum of Art and is a former board member of the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra. She is an attorney at SmithAmundsen and represents clients in the health care industry. Shapiro earned her J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law and her B.A. from Indiana University.
