AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) says customers will see faster speeds on wireless networks due to the company conducting some upgrades. The improvements will lead to greater capacity on towers in Bloomfield and Newberry.

The upgrades come a year after AT&T made enhancements to their wireless network near Owensburg, Farmers and Worthington. The company also upgraded towers in Solsberry and Switz City in 2017. The work included adding 9 layers of radio frequency spectrum, which will increase speeds for people using these towers. “AT&T’s new investment in Greene County is a big boost for families and job makers who count on a solid connection and fast speeds at home and at the office,” said state Sen. Eric Bassler.  “These upgrades are a tremendous resource for the entire region.

AT&T has invested over $1.6 billion in its Indiana networks since 2014, and have seen a 250,000-percent increase in data usage since 2007. Company officials say their 4G LTE network will serve as the foundation as the company continues to evolve to 5G.

    • Hope is Not a Plan

This is sobering. A local business broker in Indianapolis reports nine out of 10 business owners who want to sell are turned away. Of the one in 10 that does make it past the first analysis to sell, over half of those company owners don’t get the sale price they hope for or believe the business is worth. Bottom line, hope is not a plan if you want to sell your business.
