The Indiana National Guard has made changes among senior leadership in the Air National Guard. Col. Michael Stohler will assume command of the 122nd Fighter Wing in Ft. Wayne, and Col. Patrick Renwick will take on expanded responsibilities at Joint Forces Headquarters in Indianapolis.

Indiana National Guard Major General Courtney Carr explained, “I have full faith and confidence in both Col. Renwick and Col. Stohler as they assume greater leadership roles. The men and women of the Indiana Air National Guard and the 122nd Fighter Wing will continue to accomplish outstanding work, both here in the state and overseas in support of Combatant Commanders.”

Col. Stohler began at the 122nd Fighter Wing in 1985. He has flown over 4,100 hours in F-16C and A-10C airframes. He commanded the Red Tails of the 332nd Air Expeditionary Group, which fought ISIS. More information can be found on the Air Force official website here.
