HOBART -

Scott Wise will fill a familiar role in his new job: to open more Scotty's Brewhouse locations throughout the Midwest. The Yorktown native has joined Hobart-based Luke Family of Brands, which has a management agreement with Scotty's, as vice president of restaurant operations.

Wise will now help to open a minimum of 10 Scotty's Brewhouses in college towns in midwest cities. Wise founded the company in 1996, and sold it and Thr3e Wise Men Brewing Company, to Due North Holdings in late 2016.

Wise says, “Even though I sold the company, I believe so much in the brand and the leadership team that is running Scotty’s Brewhouse, I wanted to continue to be involved in some capacity. I'm extremely excited about my future opportunities to manage multiple diverse restaurant franchises and still be involved with the Scotty's brand and growth into new locations throughout the Midwest. This was a win-win-win partnership for everyone involved."

The company has recently announced they will open a new Scotty's in Waco, Texas, and several locations in Missouri. Wise's first location is in the village at Ball State University, and he opened 15 more in the following 20 years, in Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, and Florida, along with two Thr3e Wise men locations.
