INDIANAPOLIS -

The senior vice president of Arizona-based Levementum says the presence of Salesforce and a "fantastic talent pool" have made Indianapolis a great spot for the customer relationship management firm to grow. Michael Burton says the company will move to a new Indianapolis location this summer after outgrowing its current home at The Union 525 downtown. Early last year, the company detailed plans to add 175 jobs by 2021.

In an interview with Inside INdiana Business Reporter Mary-Rachel Redman, Burton says Levementum has grown to be one of the top Salesforce partners in North America.

When the company announced its expansion plans, it said the new positions would offer average wages more than double the state's 2015 average of $21.21 per hour. The company is hiring for consultants, developers and strategic account executives. At the time, Burton said Levementum looked forward to "exponential growth" in Indiana. It currently employs about 40 in Indianapolis.

Burton tells Inside INdiana Business Levementum's Salesforce business grew 250 percent from 2016 to 2017. He says, in the span of about a year, the company went from being a Salesforce Registered Partner, which is its lowest tier, to being a Platinum Partner.

Levementum offers customer engagement platforms including CRM, marketing automation, predictive intelligence and Internet of Things solutions. In addition to its operations in Indianapolis and Arizona, the company has a development center in El Paso, Texas.
