Nebraska-based Consolidated Container Co. LP has announced plans to expand into Boone County. The company will invest $4.4 million to set up operations inside the Ken’s Foods production facility at the Lebanon Business Park and create 10 jobs by the end of the year.

CCC develops and manufactures rigid plastic packaging solutions for North America. The new jobs at the Lebanon operation will pay an annual salary of more than $32,000, according to documents filed with the city.

"This is another company in one of Lebanon’s targeted sectors and is part of a close partnership with Ken’s Foods and their suppliers," said Lebanon Mayor Matt Gentry. "The business friendly environment in the Lebanon Business Park continues to attract innovative companies like CCC, and we look forward to seeing them thrive here."

In August 2016, Ken's Foods announced plans to invest $90 million to build the 320,000-square-foot facility in Lebanon. Later that year, Chief Operating Officer Bob Merchant spoke with Inside INdiana Business Special Projects Reporter Kylie Veleta to talk about the move.
