Munster-based Three Floyds Brewing Co. says plans include more than 114,000 square-feet of additional manufacturing and warehousing space, expanded retail, brewpub and office facilities and a new outdoor garden area for dining.
The Plan Unit Development filing with the town of Munster also includes more parking and infrastructure improvements. No financial or employment details have been included in this stage of the process. The brewery is slated to participate in a public hearing during a special meeting of the town’s Plan Commission February 27 at 7 p.m. Three Floyds’ last expansion took place in 2014 and included adding brewing and parking space, as well as a distillery.
Our partners at The Times of Northwest Indiana report company officials say the new expansion will put Three Floyds’ facility footprint on par with Stone Brewing in California.
