Meeting House Antiques was located on Lovers Lane near the canal in Metamora. Friends of shop owner Dave Henninger have launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise $40,000.
Organizers of the page say rising insurance costs prevented Henninger from buying a policy for the property. The fire that leveled the building took place early Wednesday morning during the village’s Christmas Walk festivities.
