The 124th edition of the Monon Bell Classic between DePauw University and Wabash College will be televised November 11 on FOX Sports Midwest and FOX Sports Indiana, as well as streamed online on the FOX Sports GO app.
This year’s game will also be carried nationally, either live or on tape delay, on FOX College Sports. The classic rivalry game had previously aired on ABC, ESPN2 and, most recently, AXS TV.
"(FOX Sports Midwest) does a sensational job covering the NBA, MLB, NHL and collegiate sports, and the team is very familiar with the Monon Bell rivalry and has an affinity for its history," said Ken Owen, special adviser to the president at DePauw University. "This great game is in very good hands."
The first meeting between DePauw and Wabash took place in 1890. The name "Monon Bell" comes from a locomotive bell that was donated and used as the winner’s trophy in 1932.
Wabash currently leads the rivalry by a 60-54-9 lead.
