An international publication has included two Indiana schools in a gallery of the most beautiful college campuses in the country. The University of Notre Dame and Indiana University made the top 25 from Condé Nast Traveler.

Notre Dame in South Bend, listed seventh, was noted for its iconic landmarks like the Main Building and its golden dome, the Virgin Mary statue in the Grotto and the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, which is considered the tallest university chapel on any campus in the U.S.

The publication cited the limestone architecture on the IU campus in Bloomington, which is one of the only public schools to make the list. It also mentioned the Jordan River and the 1,200 miles of biking and walking trails in and around the grounds.
