Officials from Indiana and Kentucky are set to host two open houses beginning Monday to gather public input on the recently-released short list of routes for the I-69 Ohio River Crossing bridge. Attendees will have the chance to hear more about the project, speak one-on-one with team members and ask questions.

The first open house will take place Monday evening in Evansville Crescent Room at Milestones, located at 621 South Cullen Avenue. The second will occur Tuesday at the Preston Fine Arts Center on the campus of Henderson Community College.

Both open houses will run from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a presentation to take place at 6:00 p.m.

The I-69 ORX team narrowed the list of potential routes to three, which will undergo further evaluation as part of a Draft Environmental Impact Statement. The team is expected to recommend a preferred alternative by fall 2018.
