Service Provider Expands Gigabyte Availability

Mediacom Communications says the high-speed service in Indiana is part of an $8 billion investment throughout the country.
In all, the company says the service will be available in 75 cities and towns. Mediacom Lincoln Region Group Vice President Todd Curtis says "we want the people and businesses of Indiana to succeed, and that is why we are thrilled to be able to offer ultrafast gigabit internet services across the entirety of our Hoosier State service territory."
The company uses the DOCSIS 3.1 "Gigasphere" platform and will also be offering a 500 Mbps tier of service in its Indiana territory.
