Stay Metrics says its partnership with Twegos involves an online application the companies say can accurately predict if a driver will be a good fit with an organization, team or colleague.
Missouri-based Prime Inc. is Stay Metrics’ first customer to use the technology. It has paired trainers with new drivers. The methodology is based off of a 1997 study from Ohio State University Fisher College of Business Leadership Effectiveness Chair Joseph Alutto, who serves as director of research for Stay Metrics.
Stay Metrics Chief Executive Officer Tim Hindes says "transportation executives have been asking us for a matching tool to predict whether or not drivers will fit with their organizations and with the industry. The value assessment and profile give insights that can predict driver turnover but more importantly identify the best match for drivers with trainers, dispatchers, and managers that increase engagement and retention." He says in the future, the technology could be used for hiring and matching all levels of employee "from the back office to the C-suite."
Stay Metrics and Twegos say the exclusive partnership is the first-of-its-kind in North America.
