Tuttle, who most recently served as executive director of the Avon Education Foundation, will begin her new role June 5.
LHC is a nonprofit organization that each year takes a class of 20-25 citizens and works to prepare them to become leaders in their communities. Tuttle is a graduate of the organization’s class of 2015.
Tuttle succeeds Susan Rozzi, who left the organization in March after serving as executive director since September 2012.
"My year in Leadership Hendricks County was a transformative experience both personally and professionally, and I’m eager to bring that same opportunity to other adults and students in the community," said Kerry. "The organization is in excellent shape, and I look forward to building upon what previous directors Susan Rozzi and Suzanne Whicker created."
Before joining the Avon Education Foundation, Tuttle held a fundraising role with the Indianapolis Zoological Society and served as executive director of Prevent Child Abuse Hendricks County. She also serves on the board of directors for the Indiana Association of Public Education Foundations.
