FISHERS -

An executive with Fishers-based Sticksnleaves is stepping down. Kristen Cooper, who served as vice president of operations and corporate development with the tech company, is leaving to become chief executive officer of The Startup Ladies, also based in Fishers.

Cooper founded The Startup Ladies in 2014. The organization, located at Launch Fishers, aims to assist women entrepreneurs in starting up and scaling up their businesses.

"The organization that I founded almost 3 years ago is at capacity with what I could do while working full time at Sticksnleaves," said Cooper. "When I met with my board in January, we started making plans so that I could realize this dream in the spring."

Cooper appeared on Inside INdiana Business Television in March 2016 on a special INsiders panel focusing on women in entrepreneurship.
