Garrison to Retire From Weekday Radio Show

Subscribe NowLongtime Indianapolis radio personality Greg Garrison has announced he will step down from his weekday talk show on WIBC this summer. Garrison, who started his show in 1997, says his last show will air June 9.
WIBC parent Emmis Communications (Nasdaq: EMMS) says Garrison, 69, will continue as a regular contributor to WIBC after his retirement. He will write a weekly column for WIBC’s website, provide regular on-air commentary and serve as a contributing legal expert for WIBC news and programs.
"Greg’s unique style, sharp wit, deep understanding of the law and conservative values have attracted a loyal, devoted audience," said David Wood, program director for WIBC. "He’s their friend, advocate and conscience – and he will be sorely missed."
Garrison’s replacement will be named at a later date, according to Wood.
Garrison is perhaps best known for serving as special prosecutor in the Mike Tyson rape trial in 1992. He also served a a legal analyst for CBS News during the trials of OJ Simpson and Timothy McVeigh.
