WINONA LAKE -

Grace College & Seminary in Winona Lake has launched the public phase of its $37 million Aspire Campaign. The school says the silent phase has already attracted more than $27 million. The campaign is four times larger than any other fundraiser in Grace College history.

Grace College says the fundraising effort lines up with its new strategic plan, which was approved unanimously Thursday by the school's board of directors. The plan focuses on four strategic priorities:

  • Educational Excellence
  • Connected Community
  • Culture of Innovation
  • Sustainable Affordability

It includes projects such as the Dr. Dane A. Miller Science Complex, the Lilly Center for Lakes & Streams, soccer and track facilities and creation of so-called third spaces on the campus, which are designed for collaboration, study, dining and fellowship activities.

The campaign is chaired by Edward Jones Principal Partner Greg Dosmann. Mary Louise Miller, wife of the late orthopedics industry magnate Dane Miller, serves as honorary chair. Dosmann says "we believe God is calling Grace to be an exemplary, Christ-centered educational community characterized by innovation, affordability and real-world preparation. The Aspire Campaign is about funding that vision."
