COLUMBUS -

Columbus-based Elwood Staffing has acquired another commercial staffing firm. As a result of the deal, Swanson Staffing, which has branch offices in northern Indiana and Florida, will be immediately rebranded under the Elwood name.

Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. The deal includes Swanson's four offices in Fort Wayne, La Porte and Elkhart in Indiana, as well as its office in Sarasota, Florida.

Elwood Staffing did not immediately state whether any jobs would be affected by the deal. This is the third acquisition in a year for Elwood, which acquired Tennessee-based White Staffing Management in June and Pennsylvania-based Berks & Beyond Employment Services Inc. in July.

The company says the acquisition brings its total number of service locations throughout the country to more than 275.
