Dant Chesser Earns Statewide Honor

One Southern Indiana Chief Executive Officer Wendy Dant Chesser has earned a top honor from the Indiana Chamber Executive Association. Dant Chesser was named Outstanding Executive of the Year by the organization that represents more than 230 chamber professionals throughout Indiana.

ICEA President Shelli Williams calls Dant Chesser a "most deserving candidate" for the honor, saying her "leadership is an example of all that can be accomplished with the right visionary steering at the helm of the organization on a daily basis.

Dant Chesser received a unanimous vote from the judging committee for the award honoring the chamber executive "assessed as the most effective chamber professional who has made a significant difference in a local chamber." Criteria evaluated include professional experience, training and education, ethical conduct, professionalism, leadership and the desire to advance the profession of chamber management.

In a release, Dant Chesser said, "Any accolates I receive is a direct reflection of the 1si staff, directors, members and investors who make the work of One Southern Indiana possible and I share this accomplishment with them."
