Bradley Schwer will take over the position at Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP’s Indy office, succeeding Robert Hicks, who was elected firm-wide managing partner in March.
Schwer will begin his new role January 1. The firm says Schwer will be responsible for continuing the success of the Indianapolis office by pursuing future growth opportunities, attracting new talent and "building upon the firm’s culture of diversity, inclusion and work-life balance."
"For the last 15 years, Bob has been a tremendous mentor and friend," said Schwer. "Under his leadership, Taft’s Indianapolis office has achieved outstanding success, which we intend to improve upon and grow by continuing to innovate, providing outstanding client service and always focusing on our clients’ needs first."
A graduate of the Indiana University McKinney School of Law, the IU Kelley School of Business and Ball State University, Schwer is a partner of Taft’s business and finance group and the chair of the firm’s mergers and acquisitions group.
In addition to Indianapolis, Taft Stettinius & Hollister has offices in Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan and Arizona.
