DemandJump Taps Former Walmart Exec

Julie Lyle, who has previously served as chief marketing officer at Walmart (NYSE: WMT) and Indianapolis-based hhgregg (NYSE: HGG), has joined the tech company as CMO and chief revenue officer.
Lyle is also the former chairman of the board of the Global Retail Marketing Association. Christopher Day, co-founder and chief executive officer of DemandJump, calls Lyle a "proven leader and one of the greatest marketing minds of our time."
“We couldn’t be more thrilled that she is joining the team," said Day. "I can’t think of a better person to help us build, scale, and distribute our platform so that it continues to deliver the maximum possible value for marketers and brands."
The addition of Lyle is the latest in a string of big announcements for DemandJump. Last month, the company announced it had secured a $1.8 million round of funding to meet increased demand.
DemandJump won the New Startup of the Year and Innovation of the Year honors at TechPoint’s 2016 Mira Awards. The company was also named a finalist for the Red Herring Top 100 North America.
