enVista Relocating in Carmel

CARMEL -

Carmel-based enVista LLC has announced plans to relocate to a new office in Carmel and add 25 jobs. The global supply chain consulting and IT services firm says the move will accommodate recent growth.

Financial details for the move were not released. Chief Executive Officer Jim Barnes says the move is the result of growth in supply chain and IT, as well as the retail technology sector.

"Contributing to our growth is the launch of our cloud-based point of sale solution for retailers, RetailPoint, and growth in other areas of the business," said Barnes. "We look forward to hiring many more associates from Indiana this year and beyond, and we believe our new office space, which will feature a modern design with open seating, will be appealing to job seekers."

enVista currently employs 450 workers worldwide.

    • Hope is Not a Plan

This is sobering. A local business broker in Indianapolis reports nine out of 10 business owners who want to sell are turned away. Of the one in 10 that does make it past the first analysis to sell, over half of those company owners don’t get the sale price they hope for or believe the business is worth. Bottom line, hope is not a plan if you want to sell your business.
