DePauw University and Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology have announced high-level administrative appointments. DePauw Vice President for Admission and Financial Aid Cindy Babington has been promoted to chief of staff and Anthony Jones has been named vice president for enrollment management. Rose-Hulman says Anne Houtman will be the school’s next vice president for academic affairs.

Babington has been with DePauw since 1993. Since then, she has served in multiple roles, including director of research, vice president for student life and dean of students.

Jones is currently vice president of enrollment management at Fisk University in Tennessee. He was Fisk’s first-ever director of admissions and has worked in the private sector at organizations including INROADS, Cincinnati-based Convergys Corp. (NYSE: CVG) and Accel Advisors.

Houtman will come to Rose-Hulman after serving three years as California State University, Bakersfield’s dean of the School of Natural Sciences, Mathematics and Engineering. She previously served as head of the Thomas H. Gosnell School of Life Sciences at Rochester Institute of Technology in New York.

All three positions will be effective July 1.
