The company is part of the 2015 Inner City 100 from the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City and FORTUNE. The rankings are based on revenue and growth rate over the last five years.
BWI is the only Hoosier business on the list and it placed second overall. The ICIC compiled the list using city office, economic development organization and small business development organization resources. The organization defines inner cities as urban communities with higher unemployment and poverty rates and lower median incomes than surrounding metro areas.
The publication says the real estate and construction services business has experienced growth between 2010 and 2014 of 2,389 percent and pulled in total revenue of more than $8.6 million last year.

BWI has three divisions: development, property management and contractors. The company’s recent projects include the 50-unit Overlook at the Fairgrounds, which broke ground in August, 38-unit Penn Place Apartments, 66-unit Wigwam Apartments and the 114-unit Central Avenue Apartments.
