Holiday World Earns 'Golden Ticket' Awards

Holiday World & Splashin' Safari in Santa Claus took multiple honors during one of the amusement park industry's top award ceremonies. The Spencer County Park won Best Water Park Ride and Cleanest Park at this year's Golden Ticket Awards.

Holiday World's Wildebeest water coaster was honored as the best water park ride for the sixth straight year. The park was named cleanest for the sixteenth consecutive year.

The park says it also ranked well in other categories, including:

Holiday World's Voyage and Raven roller coasters named among the top 12 wooden coasters in the world

Thunderbird ranked as one of 2015's top new rides

Splashin' Safari named the second-best water park

The parks' staff named the second-friendliest

Holiday World tied for ninth place for top park

      Wire and Cable Startup to Set Up Shop in Argos

      A startup wire and cable company has announced plans to launch operations in Marshall County. The Indiana Economic Development Corp. says Sequel Wire and Cable LLC will invest $53 million to purchase and equip the 50,000-square-foot Argos Manufacturing Center and create 120 jobs by the end of 2024.       Justus Rental Properties Details Closures

      Indianapolis-based Justus Rental Properties, Inc. has announced it will be closing its assisted living service line at Crestwood Village West and Crestwood Village East. The company is also is in the process of selling the both communities.
