News Release

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – CloudOne (http://www.oncloudone.com), a leader in bringing enterprise applications to the cloud, announced today continued global expansion that will broaden its offerings in order to support customer and business partnerships internationally.

The company appointed Glenn Mitchell, who most recently served as the IBM Rational Architect Team Lead for the U.K., as Director of Sales and Business Development – EMEA. Based in the U.K., Mitchell will manage CloudOne's continued growth and European expansion as well as oversee their Partner Marketplace in France and the DACH region.

Simultaneously, CloudOne announced a collaboration with Method Park, a software solution provider that develops the industry leading process solution called “Stages.” As part of the sales and enablement partnership, Method Park will provide Tier-1 In-Language Support to CloudOne's German-speaking Internet of Things (IoT) community from its location in Erlangen, Germany.

“The opening of IBM's first cloud data center with SoftLayer in Frankfurt and the imminent expansion of data centers globally allows us to serve as an extension to CloudOne's solution services team. We are pleased to lend our expertise to support them in expanding their Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) and managed services footprint around the world,” said Dr. Martin Geier, COO of Method Park.

Additionally, CloudOne expects to expand its services in the latter part of 2015 in order to serve the demands of a growing international customer base in the APAC region.

“Ramping up our international presence allows us to cleverly enable our customers wherever they may be to exploit cloud economics and global sharing without abandoning everything they've built,” said John McDonald, CEO of CloudOne. “Under Glenn Mitchell's leadership and with the potency of partners such as IBM, Sodius Corp. and Method Park, CloudOne can continue to quickly and economically help the world's best companies make their things for the Internet of Things.”

The news of CloudOne's continued global expansion comes shortly after the long standing premier IBM Business Partner was named a winner of a 2015 IBM Beacon Award for Outstanding Continuous Engineering Solution. The Beacon Awards are awarded to only thirty out of 100,000 IBM business partners globally.
