Olgen Williams to Run for Indianapolis Mayor

Deputy Mayor Olgen Williams says he will run as a Republican. Williams made the announcement Monday morning on Twitter. “After much discussion and prayer with my family I've decided to run for Mayor of Indianapolis,” Williams said.
Our partners at WTHR-TV report Williams had a family meeting about his candidacy Sunday and decided it was the right thing to do.
Williams currently serves as Deputy Mayor of Neighborhoods for the City of Indianapolis.
