A nonprofit focusing on downtown revitalization has launched in Indiana's first city. The InVin Inc. Arts, Business & Innovation Initiative is marketing Vincennes in hopes of attracting new and increased investment. Executive Director Elizabeth Cutter-McNeece says the organization is striving to make the downtown a destination for visitors in the Illinois basin and beyond. She says the public and private sectors are contributing to InVin., including one of the group's “catalysts,” Pioneer Oil Co. Inc. Chief Financial Officer Steve Miller. Cutter-McNeece says Miller, an Indiana University graduate, is a Vincennes native and has played a major role in driving the nonprofit forward since the company located an operation to Knox County last year.
