SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Operation: Job Ready Veterans invites St. Joseph and Elkhart County Veterans to a weeklong employment seminar at no charge to job seekers. Our staff of experienced workforce development professionals, many of whom are veterans, has developed an effective approach to assisting veterans who are seeking employment and career opportunities in the civilian workforce. We take a hands-on approach with our clients, from individual coaching sessions to the small-group workshops and training sessions.
The employment, training and career-counseling services are offered to unemployed or
underemployed service members, veterans, military spouses and caregivers at no cost to the
program participant. Individuals invited to register as participants are:
-Veterans who received any discharge other than dishonorable;
-Members of the Indiana National Guard or Reserve;
-Spouses of Veterans;
-Active Duty, National Guard or Reserve spouses; and
-Military caregivers.
