Muncie Mission Ministries Inc. has named Frank Baldwin executive director. He will succeed Ray Raines and most recently served as national director of sales and development with Connersville-based Keener Corp. August 25, 2014

News Release

MUNCIE, Ind. – After a nation-wide search, the Muncie Mission Ministries Board of Directors announced the unanimous and enthusiastic selection of a new executive director. Beginning September 2, 2014, Frank Baldwin will succeed Ray Raines as the fifth executive director.

Frank brings extensive experience in management and business development; he comes to the Mission most recently from Keener Corporation where he served as National Director of Sales and Development.

He has also worked for Focus on the Family in Colorado, and as executive director for a local Christian camp. However it is his sincere devotion to Christian service that set him apart from all the other candidates. Board president Dean Meyers said, “Frank will be an excellent executive director for the Muncie Mission. His integrity, business experience, ministry experience and passion for service make him a perfect fit for the Mission and the city of Muncie.”

Ray Raines said he was excited about having Frank follow him as the Mission's leader: “I believe with all my heart that he is God's man for now and the future of the mission to serve the homeless and needy of East Central Indiana. He has a heart of compassion and a desire to serve the Lord in this home mission field.”

Frank said he was looking forward to carrying on the quality of ministry the Muncie Mission provides. “I am honored to be selected to carry on the vision of the Muncie Mission so well established under the leadership of Ray Raines. The mission statement of the organization distills my vision and passion in moving forward into the future. I eagerly anticipate networking and establishing community relationships within the city of Muncie and working together with the great staff of the mission and the many community volunteers to improve the lives of our fellow citizens who have needs that can be met by the Mission.”

Frank was born in Pennsylvania and grew up as the son of a church planting minister where Christian service was integrated into every aspect of family life. A resident of Alexandria, Indiana, Baldwin has three grown children and has been married to his wife, Anna, for thirty-five years. He is a member and nominated elder of New Life Presbyterian Church in Yorktown.
